May 17, 2018

Washington, D.C.—Today, Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement in response to the Senate's 52-47 vote to reverse the Federal Communications Commission December decision to repeal landmark 2015 net neutrality rules.

"Today's Senate vote to restore net neutrality is a win for internet freedom and all those who use it," said Congresswoman Adams. "Individuals and small businesses alike are depending on Congress to ensure equal access to the internet. I'm proud to support net neutrality legislation in the House and I urge my Republican colleagues to swiftly bring it to the floor for a vote."
