Adams Presides Over National Small Business Week Roundtable

May 3, 2017

Washington, D.C.—Today, Small Business Vice-Ranking Member Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) presided over the National Small Business Week Roundtable hosted by Small Business Committee Democrats. The roundtable marks the 54th annual National Small Business Week and included small business owners from across the country to discuss the unique challenges they face.

"During the 54th annual National Small Business Week, we recognize small business owners nationwide who make the American dream possible," said Congresswoman Adams. "Eighty-five million people rely on nearly twenty-five million small businesses for employment annually. Today's roundtable gave small business owners the opportunity to speak candidly about the unique challenges they face and the federal support they need. It's imperative that lawmakers continue to stand up and speak out for policies that allow local companies to grow."
