Adams Statement on Nationwide Ruling Against the Repackaged Travel Ban

Washington, D.C.—Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement after a federal judge in Hawaii blocked the implementation of President Trump's second travel ban hours before it was set to take affect.
"This repackaged Executive Order is yet another failed attempt by the administration to discriminate based on religion," said Congresswoman Adams. "I applaud the court for seeing this travel ban for what it is and for striking it down. Today's decision is another victory for our national security, our values, and our Constitution."
