Statement by Rep. Adams on Supreme Court MIfepristone Ruling

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (D-NC-12), released the following statement on the Supreme Court’s ruling protecting access to Mifepristone: 

"Women should always be empowered to make their own healthcare decisions and have access to the medications they need, and that includes mifepristone. The Supreme Court made the right decision today, but they made the wrong decision two years ago when they unleashed state governments on the fundamental abortion rights of so many women in Dobbs v. Jackson. While I cheer this result, I won’t stop fighting until we get the full measure of our rights and dignity restored.”
