Adams Condemns Passage of Senate Tax Plan

Charlotte, N.C.—Congresswoman Alma S. Adams (NC-12) released the following statement after the Senate passed their version of the tax bill.
"Senate Republicans just voted to raise the deficit by more than one trillion dollars and provide tax cuts for corporations on the backs of working families. To make matters worse, many of them took this vote without reading the full bill first. I'm truly embarrassed by this legislative body," said Congresswoman Adams. "But the fight isn't over. Call your representatives and demand they put people before politics."
