Adams Statement on the Announcement of 12 New Indictments From The Special Counsel Investigation

Washington D.C.-Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement after Special Counsel Mueller announced new indictments of 12 Russian intelligence officials for hacking the Democratic National Committee, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

"The Russian summit with Putin, in light of today's indictments, is a reckless decision," said Congresswoman Alma Adams. "It, however, highlights the importance of allowing Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation to continue unimpeded. Both Republicans and Democrats in Congress should ensure it is allowed to do so. Further, it is clear that we must have a firm understanding of Russia's involvement with this administration before we seat another one of Trumps SCOTUS picks"
