Adams Statement on Las Vegas Shooting

Charlotte, N.C.—Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12) released the following statement after a horrific shooting near the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas that claimed at least 50 innocent lives and injured more than 400.

 “This morning, our nation awoke to news of the largest mass shooting in our history. My heart breaks for the victims, their loved ones, and the community of Las Vegas, and my prayers are with each of them,” said Congresswoman Adams. “Enough is enough. As we unite to pray for all who were affected by today’s horrific events, Congress must have the moral courage to unite to end gun violence.”
