Adams Statement on Resolution Vote

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12), released the following statement on today's House impeachment resolution vote.

"Today, I was happy to join my colleagues in approving a resolution to reaffirm our ongoing impeachment inquiry by a vote of 232-196", said Congresswoman Alma Adams. "This resolution ensures transparency by enabling public hearings and makes clear that President Trump has the opportunity to defend himself in impeachment proceedings. Despite unprecedented obstruction by the President and his allies, the House of Representatives will continue to uphold its constitutional duty, commit to discovering all of the facts, and hold the President accountable for his misdeeds."
