Adams Statement of Scheduled TrumpCare Vote

May 4, 2017

Washington,D.C.—Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement after Republicans announced they will force the House to vote on TrumpCare tomorrow, without a Congressional Budget Office score of the final legislation.

"Its shameful that Republicans refuse to work in a bipartisan way to protect our healthcare," said Congresswoman Adams. "Instead, the GOP is recklessly rushing TrumpCare to the floor without knowing how much it will cost or how many Americans stand to lose their healthcare if passed. Once again, Republicans are putting politics before people and that's unacceptable."
