Adams, Washam Announce the Establishment of Cornelius Satellite Office Hours

June 7, 2018

Washington, D.C.—Today, Congresswoman Adams' team will welcome 12th District residents to the first monthly Cornelius Satellite Office Hours from 3:00-5:00pm. Beginning today, the office hours will occur on the first Thursday of every month from 3:00-5:00pm in the Mayor's Chambers at the Cornelius Town Hall.

On Monday, June 4th Congresswoman Adams and Cornelius Mayor Woody Washam launched the new office hours by welcoming constituents to the Cornelius Town Hall for a meet and greet.

"I'm proud to open a third satellite office location to ensure that everyone in North Carolina's 12th Congressional District has access to my office," said Congresswoman Adams. "I understand that the Charlotte office may be out of reach for some individuals, so I'm happy to bring office hours to Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson. I encourage anyone living in the 12th District to stop by one of our satellite offices if you need assistance."

Congresswoman Adams hosts satellite office hours in Huntersville on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9am to 12pm and in Davidson on the 1st Thursday of every month from 12 to 2pm. Twelfth District constituents can visit during the satellite office hours to meet with a member of Congresswoman Adams' staff for assistance with passports, veteran's benefits, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and for help navigating federal agencies. Congresswoman Adams' primary office is located at 801 E Morehead Street, Suite 150, Charlotte, NC 2820 and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm.
