Advisory: Alma Adams Hosts Virtual HBCU Day
ZOOM – This week, Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) will host a virtual "HBCU Day" event at 12 Noon on Saturday, Oct. 24. The event will celebrate Historically Black Colleges and Universities, is open to the public, and is open press.

Join us for “HBCU Day” hosted by Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. The virtual “HBCU Day” showcases the impact and contributions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and celebrates the students, the alumni and the culture of these phenomenal institutions. Hear from multiple institutions in one location, experience the bands and cheerleaders and hear first-hand testimonials from HBCU students and alumni as we share what makes an HBCU education the experience of a lifetime.
Congresswoman Alma Adams represents North Carolina’s 12th Congressional District (Charlotte) and serves as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Agriculture. Additionally, she serves on the House Financial Services Committee and the House Education & Labor Committee, where she serves as Chair of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee. Adams is the co-founder and chair of the first bipartisan Congressional HBCU Caucus.
