Advisory: Congresswoman Adams to Hold State of the District and Swearing-In Events

CONCORD, N.C. (January 10, 2022) – Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) will hold her annual “State of the District” and biannual “Ceremonial Swearing-In” on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Adams was elected to a 5th full term representing North Carolina’s 12th Congressional District in November.
The first event starts at 11:00 AM in Cabarrus County at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center, 4751 NC Highway 49, Concord, NC 28025.
The second event starts at 7:00 PM in Mecklenburg County at Julius L. Chambers High School, 7600 IBM Drive, Charlotte, NC 28262.
Both events are open press. Constituents and interested parties can sign up for updates on Rep. Adams’ website at adams.house.gov/SOTD.
