Congresswoman Adams’ Made in the 12th Tour Makes its Final Stop at Honda Aircraft Headquarters
GREENSBORO — Today, Congresswoman Alma S. Adams (NC-12) and Guilford County Commissioner Ray Trapp visited the Honda Aircraft Company headquarters in Greensboro, NC as the last stop on the Made in the 12th District Tour.
Upon their visit to the Honda Aircraft facilities, Congresswoman Adams and Commissioner Trapp met with the President and CEO, Michimasa Fujino and Honda representatives to discuss the City of Greensboro as the aviation manufacturer’s world headquarters, its impact on the state and global economy, as well as the company’s leadership in diversity training and hiring.
“With over 1700 plus employees, and a commitment to diversity hiring and skills training, Honda Aircraft stands as not only a leader in aviation manufacturing, but also as a solution provider in today’s workforce economy. After visiting with companies throughout the 12th District, I am confident that North Carolina will continue to hold its competitive edge in the manufacturing industry in the future,” said Rep. Adams.
