Congresswoman Adams Releases August District Work Period Schedule
From August 18th through September 2nd, Congresswoman Adams to Host Events, Meetings and Listening Sessions throughout North Carolina’s 12th District
Washington, DC – After returning from an educational working trip to Israel and while Congress is out of session, from August 18th – September 2nd Congresswoman Alma S. Adams (NC-12) will travel throughout North Carolina's 12th District to host a series of events, meetings and community listening sessions. Congresswoman Adams' District schedule is below:

Thomasville/Greensboro, NC - Tuesday, August 18th
10am Visit Conrad farm in Thomasville
11:30am Host District Coffee at Thomasville satellite office
2pm Visit Novant Health Center in Thomasville
4pm Urge Greensboro City Council to increase minimum wage for city employees
Winston-Salem, NC - Wednesday, August 19th
12pm Host early childhood education/ K-12 roundtable with Winston-Salem School Board at MudPies East Early Learning Center
2pm Host Winston-Salem constituent services fair at Winston-Salem satellite office
High Point, NC – Thursday, August 20th
9am Meet with Guilford workforce development board in High Point
11:30 am Host District coffee at the High Point satellite office
2pm "Go Undercover" at Train Food Bank in High Point to discuss hunger
August 25th – 27th
East Spencer/Salisbury, NC - Tuesday, August 25th
10am Host District coffee at East Spencer satellite office

2pm Visit Boral Composites Incorporated, a coal ash plant recycling center, to discuss manufacturing and environmental safety
