Congresswoman Adams Statement on Passing of Howard Coble
Washington, DC – Congresswoman Alma S. Adams (NC-12) today released the following statement on the passing of Congressman Howard Coble, who represented the 6th Congressional District of North Carolina from 1985-2015:
"Howard Coble was a true statesman and the epitome of a public servant. He dedicated his life to serving our country and the people of North Carolina. As a freshman Member of Congress, I often look to Coble's method of running his office, in serving my constituents – he was steadfast, attentive, and always put them first.
"My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and former colleagues. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Coble's legacy will remain in the Greensboro community and throughout North Carolina – as a man who served selflessly."
