Congresswoman Adams and 21 other Democratic members, including House leadership, are in Israel to learn more about the country and key issues impacting the U.S. and Israel relationship. Members have been on the trip since August 3rd and will return on August 11th.

During the trip, members will visit the Gaza area, West Bank, Lebanon and Syrian borders and tour various historical and religious sites. Members will also meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Palestine Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah as well as other government officials. They will also meet with Ambassador Dan Shapiro and key military leaders.

"Israel is a critical ally in the Middle East," said Congresswoman Adams. "Through this educational working trip, I hope to have a clearer understanding of the issues vital to the U.S. and Israel relationship."
