PSA: Deadline for Appropriations Requests is Friday, March 17
CHARLOTTE (March 14, 2023) — The deadline for Fiscal Year 2024 appropriations requests from the Office of Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12), including Community Project Funding, is Friday, March 17.

“Last year, Congresswoman Adams secured over 20 million dollars in Community Project Funding that meets long overdue community needs in North Carolina’s 12th District,” said Sam Spencer, communications director for Rep. Adams. “Community Project Funding investments create jobs with better pay, improve food security, build affordable housing, strengthen our communities, and start to tackle climate change. However, given the tight timeline set by the Appropriations Committee, our submission deadline is this Friday, March 17. We look forward to working with you on your requests."
Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. represents North Carolina's 12th Congressional District (Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, Cabarrus County) and serves on the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Education & the Workforce, where she serves as ranking member of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee. In 2015, she founded the Adams Hunger Initiative to address food insecurity across Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, and the 12th Congressional District.
