Rep. Adams Responds To Constituents Concerns During Telephone Town Hall

February 10, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, PhD, representing North Carolina’s 12th Congressional District, took questions from constituents during a telephone town hall. The town hall was held in direct response to an increase in constituents contacting the Congresswoman’s office regarding their concerns about the Trump-Vance administration's unprecedented and overly broad executive actions.

“I want you to know that, together, we will work aggressively to protect the vital federal programs that hard working Americans around the country rely on, the public schools that educate our children, and the federal agencies that keep our country moving,” the Congresswoman said in response to the concerns of her constituents.

The Congresswoman also thanked the constituents who participated for staying engaged during this perilous time for the country.

“For our democracy to function, we must remain engaged and stand up against those who want to dismantle our constitution,” the Congresswoman said. “Thank you for staying engaged to ensure that our government remains by the people for the people regardless of how much the occupant of the White House may try to change it.”

Congresswoman Adams plans to hold more town hall events over the coming months to keep constituents informed about her efforts to push back against the Trump-Vance administration’s chaotic attempted takeover of the federal government.
