July 17, 2016
Washington, DC—Today, Rep. Alma S. Adams (NC-12 released the following statement after the shooting deaths of three officers in Baton Rouge, LA:
“My thoughts and prayers are with the City of Baton Rouge and with our entire nation. Enough is enough. It is time for us to work together to find meaningful solutions to the social divides that are ripping our communities apart. That includes Congress putting aside partisan politics and passing bipartisan legislation that will increase gun safety. These acts of senseless violence and bloodshed are becoming the norm and that's unacceptable.” said Rep. Adams.
