Rep. Adams' Statement on the Attempted Assassination of former President Trump
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (D-NC-12) released the following statement on the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump:
“I condemn the violence at former President Trump’s rally, and I am thankful for the swift response by Secret Service and law enforcement officers. I pray for President Trump’s recovery, for the family that lost a loved one, and for others injured.
Political violence is beneath us as a democracy.”
