Rep. Adams’ Statement on President Trump’s Mass Deportation Raids

Charlotte, NC - Congresswoman Alma S. Adams (NC-12) released the following statement on reports that immigration authorities would begin raids targeting people for deportation.

"The President's politically motivated raids will target and separate vulnerable families. Countless people, including children, are living in fear and uncertainty. To those who are in fear, in the 12^th District, in North Carolina, and across the country, you are not alone. House Democrats stand with you. I stand with you. In the 12^th District, my office is monitoring the situation, and is ready to assist anyone in need. I will keep fighting to ensure no resident in this District will be afraid on my watch."
