Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement on Vice President Kamala Harris' visit to North Carolina in support of President Joe Biden's American Jobs Plan

Greensboro, N.C. Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement on Vice President Kamala Harris' visit to North Carolina in support of President Joe Biden's American Jobs Plan:

"A once-in-a-century crisis calls for once-in-a-century ideas, and that's what Vice President Harris spoke about today," said Adams. "However, the Vice President talked about something more fundamental than that - she talked about the importance of a good job. I agree with her - one good job should be enough. The American people deserve the freedom of a good job that gives them the chance to build the life they want. We can't go back to the way things were before - we have to make sure that we're not only creating jobs, but creating good jobs that pay fair wages. This plan does that."

"The American Jobs Plan invests in the critical infrastructure our country needs to continue to be a world leader after the COVID-19 pandemic," continued Adams. "The Biden-Harris Plan will rebuild our crumbling infrastructure, improve our country's transportation network, improve health by eliminating lead pipes in our drinking water systems, deliver affordable, high-speed broadband to every American, and so much more."
