CHARLOTTE – Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12) celebrated the reopening of the new CW Williams Community Health Center in her district yesterday. Rep. Adams helped secure a federal grant of over $1.2 million to support the renovations and modernization of the 80-year-old center, a Federally Qualified Community Health Center and safety net primary care provider in an area of Charlotte considered to be a healthcare desert.
