Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12) and Congressman David Trone (MD-06), as well as CongresswomanMarie Newman (IL-03), announced the introduction of the Emergency Child and Adult Nutrition Assistance Act of 2021. This legislation combines and extends both Rep. Adams's FEED the Children Act and Rep. Trone's Food and Nutrition Provider Emergency Support Act from the 116th Congress.

The groundbreaking investment will help remove barriers to decarbonization across the manufacturing sector and advance the Biden Administration's goal of achieving a clean energy economy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12), the founder and co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional HBCU Caucus, as well as a professor for four decades at Bennett College, released a statement applauding the accreditation of Bennett College. The Department of Education determined in a July 23 letter that it will approve the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools ("TRACS") as Bennett's institutional accrediting agency, effective as of March 25, 2021.
