Charlotte – On Wednesday, March 25, Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12) sent two bipartisan letters to President Trump in support of North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper's request for a "major disaster" declaration for the State of North Carolina as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
Charlotte – Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) will host a TeleTown Hall at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 23 to connect constituents with federal, state, and local programs that can provide help and support during the coronavirus pandemic.
UPDATE: Later in the day after the letter was sent, the SBA approved the declaration for North Carolina.
