Google announced today that 18 cities across four new metro areas including: Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, and Raleigh-Durham, are among the new areas where Google will build a network of gigabit Internet, with speeds up to 100 times faster than today's basic broadband.

Rep. Adams is an original co-sponsor on H.R. 295 and made the following statement regarding her support of this important legislation:
