WASHINGTON, DC [02/13/19] – Today Alma S. Adams (D-NC), Chair of the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections and Congresswomen Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR), Chair of the Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Human Services, held a joint Education and Labor Committee hearing on the Paycheck Fairness Act.
"The raids occurring in our District today appear to be related to a worksite action. In the past year, the Trump Administration has conducted an increased number of these raids and that is an issue of deep concern," said Congresswoman Adams. "I have been in communication with ICE and other Department of Homeland Security officials.
