The event will last approximately 30 minutes and include a video presentation on the people of the 12th Congressional District, the ceremonial swearing-in, and remarks from Congresswoman Adams.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12) joined Congressman Hank Johnson's (GA-04) resolution censuring and condemning President Donald J. Trump for attempting to overturn the results of the November 2020 presidential election in the State of Georgia. They were joined by more than 90 colleagues.
Washington, D.C. – A bill introduced by Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D., (NC-12) to strengthen partnerships between Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and federal agencies was signed into law last week. The HBCU Propelling Agency Relationships Towards a New Era of Results for Students (PARTNERS) Act will strengthen partnerships between federal agencies and the country's more than 100 HBCUs.
This is Adams' third stand-alone bill to be signed into law during the 116th Congress.
