Local issues in the District will always be the primary concern of Congresswoman Adams. She takes her duties as the U.S. Representative of North Carolina's 12th Congressional District very seriously. Whether she is securing federal funding for district schools or health care institutions, or fighting for a living wage and affordable taxes for her constituents, she will always put the needs of the 12th District first, and be its advocate in the House of Representatives.

Summer Interns for Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12)
Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D.'s (NC-12) D.C. Office is seeking interns for the upcoming Summer of 2022. This internship is based in the Washington, DC office and is open to college students and recent graduates. Hours are flexible to accommodate students' course schedules, but generally run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when Congress is in session and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when not in session.
CHARLOTTE – On Saturday, December 4 at 8:00 AM ET, the Office of Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) will host a childhood vaccination event at Winterfield Elementary School in Charlotte. Novant Health will hold a vaccination clinic on campus during this time that is open to the public.
