Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12), along with Congressman Anthony G. Brown (MD-04) and 27 colleagues in the House and Senate, is urging congressional leadership to ensure that our nation's historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) have equitable access to federal research and development funds in upcoming COVID-19 relief packages.

Adams 2020 Military Service Academy Day
October 9, 2020

CHARLOTTE— Congresswoman Alma Adams will host a 12th Congressional District Military Service Academy Day tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th at 10:00 AM.

Students, parents, and teachers are encouraged to attend to receive a comprehensive overview of the US Service Academies, and learn how high school students can be nominated to attend the academies on a full scholarship.

The program will feature representatives from the US Coast Guard Academy, Military Academy at West Point, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy and the Merchant Marine Academy.
